Mr. Vinovich is a partner and attorney with Hilbrich Law Firm which has offices in Crown Point, Highland, and Portage, IN. He has practiced law for 25 years. "AV Preeminent Rating" by Martindale-Hubbell (highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards). Named an Indiana Super Lawyer. He is a trial lawyer who represents victims of medical malpractice, wrongful death, and personal injury. He has extensive experience handling complex litigation and obtained numerous multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements. He is a frequent lecturer and moderator of legal education seminars for lawyers and judges. He serves as judge pro tempore in Lake Superior Court, as well as being a mediator and arbitrator.

Mr. Vinovich was President of the Indiana State Bar Association and Chairman of the House of Delegates. He is a member of the House since 1995, and former Parliamentarian. He's served four terms on the Board of Governors and was three times a member of the Executive Committee. He was Chairman of many committees, including the Board and House Nominating Committees, Budget and Finance Committee, Member and Membership Benefits Committee, Succession Planning Committee, and Leadership Development Academy. He was Moderator of the "Community Forum" pilot project and has served as judge and coach of the "We The People" Program for many years.

Mr. Vinovich is also active in the American Bar Association and Lake County Bar Association (LCBA). He is former President of the LCBA and continuously served as a Board of Director from 1996 to 2008. He served as Chairman of the LCBA's Continuing Legal Education Committee, Program and Social Committee, and Young Lawyer's Section; and was a member of the LCBA's Personnel Committee, Scholarship Committee, and several ad hoc committees. He was Moderator of various functions including Bench/Bar Conferences and several Judicial Robing Ceremonies.

Now an Emeritus member with the Calumet American Inns of Court, Mr. Vinovich served as Secretary and has been a member since its inception. He is an Indiana Bar Foundation "Patron Fellow" and served as a Board of Director. He is also a Sustaining Member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and member since 1990. He was group leader for the Boy Scouts' Explorers Program for several years in Lake County.

Mr. Vinovich was born on July 23, 1965, in Newport, Rhode Island and grew up in Northwest Indiana. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Purdue University with a double major in Political Science and History in 1987. He received his law degree from Indiana University (Bloomington) in 1990. He is admitted to the Bars of the State of Indiana and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana. He practices regularly in state and federal courts in Indiana.
