John F. Hilbrich
The establishment of Hilbrich Law Firm evolved from the original law firm founded by John F. Hilbrich in 1952.
John Francis Hilbrich was born in Hammond, Indiana on September 18, 1927 to Genivieve and Lawrence Hilbrich. He attended the University of Notre Dame and received his B.A. Degree Cum Laude in 1950 and his Juris Doctorate in 1951. He was a member of the armed forces and served as Special Agent in Army Counter-Intelligence from 1951-1953. He and his lovely wife, Judi, have eight wonderful children and 22 grandchildren.
If you can measure a man's success by the loyalty, respect and friendship shown to him by his peers, employees, family, friends, and acquaintances, then Jack Hilbrich is one of the most successful men alive. He is the definition of a true Gentleman. He is known by all to be honest, genuine, sincere and honorable. His character and reputation are beyond reproach.
There is no doubt that his 50 years of devoted service to his clients will not be forgotten and will be greatly missed by the thousands of Lake County, Indiana residents who have trusted and relied upon him for his expert advice and kind words.
The Town of Griffith and every Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gary are among the clients that have enjoyed representation by this Firm for many years.
The remaining legacy of Mr. Hilbrich to his law firm is that we strive to be diligent, hard-working, and honest, while always remembering that the client should be treated with dignity and respect and our utmost loyalty.
