Mr. Dobosz devotes his law practice to representing and counseling clients throughout a broad spectrum of legal needs. His civil litigation practice focuses primarily on plaintiff's personal injury, including wrongful death, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability, construction accidents, and product injuries. He has extensive experience representing plaintiffs against doctors, nurses, hospitals, state and county governments, and insurance companies in state and federal trial courts in Illinois and Indiana.

Other areas of Mr. Dobosz's general litigation practice include the handling of cases arising from work site accidents, OSHA compliance, construction contracts, professional negligence, foreclosures, non-competition agreements, and collections. In addition, a substantial portion of his practice is devoted to such areas as probate, estate planning and elder law, real estate law, municipal law, corporate law, and matrimonial law.

Mr. Dobosz takes great pride in counseling clients with their estate planning needs. He has conducted many seminars on estate planning and elder law issues, including financial and healthcare powers of attorney, living trusts, probate avoidance, and Medicaid. Likewise, he has handled post-mortem estate planning and probate and trust administration. He has also litigated many related issues, such as will contests, deed contests, will construction, executor replacement, and decedent claims.

Mr. Dobosz was born in East Chicago, Indiana on September 24, 1963. He graduated from Griffith High School in 1982 and from East Tennessee State University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 1986 with the highest GPA of his graduating class. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi. He majored in psychology and minored in political science and criminal justice. He received his Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law at Bloomington in 1989. He has been a member of the Indiana Bar since 1989 and is admitted to practice in the United States Federal District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Mr. Dobosz remains active in his profession. He is a member of the Lake County Bar Association and Indiana State Bar Association, including the Probate and Estate Planning and Elder Law Sections. He is a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. He has clerked for Lake County judges and has sat as judge pro tempore. In the past, he spent several years as an elected member of the Lake County Board of Managers for the Lake County Bar Association and has been utilized by local attorneys as a domestic relations mediator.
